one down

i made my first friendship bracelet. all purples. surprisingly, i’m not keeping it for myself, despite my long-term addiction to purple. my friend picked out the colors last week while we were camping and i worked on it off and on for about 8 days. in the midst of the chaos of house/yard renovations, i’m enjoying having a tiny project to return to a few times a day that is always tidy and always easy.

of course, i’m making the easiest design there is. i started looking at patterns, and if i wasn’t so distracted by other projects, i’d probably attempt one of them, but they look tedious. you can see the patterns for a few of my favorites here.
