holy moments

We had a weekend of holy moments, and I’m not talkin’ about Easter.

Here’s the run-down, complete with blurry iphone pictures…

The washer and dryer that have been sitting amid the upstairs construction (for two years now) were installed. There might be a fight about who gets to press all of the buttons first:

Equally exciting, our (over-priced) toilet. The one thing I asked for when we gutted the bathroom was the ability to clean under EVERYTHING:

My studio after I cleaned for 4 and 1/2 hours today:

This evenings holy moment: the one item that made it upstairs to my freshly-cleaned studio–my anthro rug. I xoxo it.

We decided we should probably go ahead and remove the radiators and finish the floors before moving things in. Fingers crossed that C will take a day off from work this week so we can finish the three rooms with hardwoods.

I don’t know who is giddier to set up my studio: me or Whit. I think if I had given her one more glass of wine and a few more pieces of sun butter fudge, we would have had everything moved in and organized by 3 a.m.
