fall things

it’s definitely fall in western NY: it’s overcast and breezy, my back yard is already full of orange leaves, i wore an army green fall jacket with a scarf on my walk to the shuttle this morning (and back home), and campus is full of freshman determined to eek out the last of the summer by sporting bare legs, tshirts and flipflops while the rest of us called campus facilities to complain that the central air has not been shut off in our offices.

i’m celebrating the lack of humidity by changing my nailpolish to butter london‘s chimney sweep. i also spent an hour searching for all of my socks and tights last night in the basement. little did i know two months ago that dumping them all in a plastic bin and storing them for the summer was not such a great idea after all…

i’m back at the school work full-time and i’m lovin’ it. i spend most of this week trying to balance my time between school work and putting my studio together, but school work keeps winning. i’m hoping by this weekend i can finally post pictures of my studio space, which is where i’ve been spending most of my time lately. it will be fun to watch the trees in the park change color in the next month.

i’m still trying to decide if i can rock this look: shorts and tights. i’m a tall gal with long legs, so i should just go for it, but i can’t seem to get myself there…of course, if i can’t find my bin of tights, it won’t matter anyway.

also loving these fall colors:

(i want to credit the photos, but can’t find them anywhere. tineye fail.)

I want to rock some fall fashion. Seems like all my fall fashion doesn’t fit anymore. :(
